The terminal is located as a branch railway line from Borkhoshuu station on the Zuunbayan–Tsogttsetsii railway stations.

The operating branch railway line has a total length of 3.7 km and is designed to enable the unloading and loading process to be carried out efficiently within a short period of time.

The terminal has an annual installed capacity of 5–10 million tonnes. Its layout and operational solutions have been designed to allow future capacity expansion.

The first official loading at the terminal was successfully completed on 2025.04.04, marking the beginning of a new stage in which export transportation is carried out 100% by railway.

The terminal has two open yards, each measuring 750×50 m. They are designed to accommodate temporary storage before loading and technical parking, and are fully equipped with heavy-duty equipment.
